Anyone can write the sales copy - It require no degree, no higher education
Well, why one need to write the sales copy? What are the importance of it ? How one can be master of the skill ?
Writing a sales copy is like convincing the reader to take action in order to provide you the business, it is as simple as it sounds. But why the reader even care what you have written, who has that much time to give it a try. Mostly people don't read because reading sucks!! Yeah be honest, it is far to difficult to convince a person who is not much into reading if it comes to make profit through sales copy via mail or blog.
But everything becomes so easy and possible to make a lot of conversion if we know the right tactics.
As I always says in my blogs, everything runs around "how to" and if you know how to do it, You will defiantly do it.
Copy-writing is more of having the knowledge of human behavior, how to engage them with our writing and how to make them take action.Hence it does not require any higher education or degree.You can start it with scratch.
So let's dive right in
The blueprint that most of the entrepreneur and business holder uses, (A.I.D.A )
Attention, Interest, Desire. Call to Action
When you write the content for a blog or mail, you must has to follow this A.I.D.A rule. It is a pattern of writing when you are pitching to your customer.
- You have to start your content with a compelling headline or subject line for mail.
- Next, you have to start your content with drawing the attention of the reader, like you have to write something amazing so that reader can't resist but to read it.Example :- You probably working way to hard, the secrete has been revealed, Chance of effortless productivity, time is running out, Now or never, Do you know etc.
- Turn that attention into Interest, make your content interesting so that they never loose the thread of reading. Put up some facts, or benefits or create the urgency for them to have that product or service.
- Now that you have interest them into your service, make them desire to have that service or else it would be loss of opportunity, they will defiantly desire to have the product or service if you set their interest very well.
- Now the last piece of content would be call to action. Tell them to take action now or else it will be too late, convince them to take action. Use key word such as, order now, book now, reserve now, limited seats available, last chance to enroll etc.
That would be it, if you are in business, you already have a great mind set so you know how to make an appeal.It just playing with right words at right time.
Exercise :- Sign up for any pop up adds , or any website to that you have interest in and once you will sign up with your id password, they going to pitch you on your email id, there you will have their sales copy, all you need to observe what they have done in there and you have practice is, day in day out. You are just the practice away. Sign up for as many website as you can to have the practice material. Do practice now that you know what is working for all other successful people.
