When I said it's no longer an easy task - I mean that it could be as simple as "Asking out other website owners for the link" but it's tough to pass that request ahead because there are 100 like you sending and requesting the same to that particular owner. 

And it becomes more difficult as a stranger for asking a favor from somebody else when an average person gets more than 90 emails a day - It's so obvious that your request might get ignored. 

But don't worry, In this article, I have breakdown the process for you so that you can go through it one by one and make it happen. 

STRATEGY 1:- Understand Why other website owners should link back to your content? What's in it for them?

 
The real and easy way to know about it is to ask yourself if someone else is asking for a backlink for you, will you just include their link to your website or would you check some factors as a website domain, quality content, Niche, and relevancy ?? 

The same thing they are will look after you request them for backlinks. 

Therefore make sure that your website is worth linking to. If you are offering them what they actually want - they will gladly, without any doubt will link back to your site.

Write or create what you have to for your website and audience and then search for the website with the same topic discussed and then reach out to the website owner. 

It will help you being relative to their content and when your content will only add value to their website - they will happily include your site link in their content.

Here’s a simple way to do that. 

Type the topic of the keyword you’re looking to target into Ubersuggest and click “Search.” 

Click on these titles to browse the articles, looking for: 

- How many images does the blog post have? 

- What is the word count of the blog post? 

- What is the title? 

- What is the featured image? 

- What is the title tag and meta description?

Follow up with these tactics in your article: 

- Include higher quality images than any of the competition. 

- Have a higher word count on your blog post—or at least make every word matter. 

- Write a more compelling title. 

- Use an interesting featured image. 

- Write a title tag and meta description that is more focused.

 Essentially, your goal is to analyze the competition, then do everything better.

Now when you have it all on your site - It's time to make your request and make sure to make your pitch short - quick to read and understand what it is all about.

STRATEGY 2:- Don't fix something if it's not broken.. 

What I mean is that in this strategy you will notice the broken links in the website where you want your link to be added and if you tell the owner about the broken link in their site - They will thank you and you should take that opportunity for granted - Give them more. 

Ask them to add your link in replace of that broken link as you have similar and up-to-date content. Because they will be having no choice then and there, they will add your link in replace the broken link with showing gratitude toward your service. 

See, that's how you earn a quality backlink there. 

So now I am gonna show you a step-by-step guide on what I explained above. 

Find top 20 sites with your niche- I am gonna use ubersuggest cause I love it. Search for the keyword according to your niche and the topic you have covered in your blog. Analyze the results. 

List out the top 15 to 20 Blogs with that keyword:- Your goal is to make a list of authority sites in your niche, and you’ll find that in the “Page Title/URL” column. Other columns include data for:

- The estimated traffic the webpage gets for the keyword 

- The number of backlinks to the URL 

- The number of social media shares on Facebook and Pinterest 

This is all you need to do to create a list of 20+ authority sites in your niche.

Check the external link in those sites:- The #1 best way to get a link from a site is to find out what kinds of links are already on the site. If your content matches what a site is linking to, you have an excellent chance of getting a link yourself.

Finding outbound links and visiting those links gives you a solid idea of what a site is looking for. There’s no one right way to do this. 

I like to take a look at the last 5 or so articles and check out the links. 

Don’t just peek at the linked domains. Really analyze the links and the type of content they have.

Look out for link back opportunities by finding broken links in those sites:- It’s one of my all-time favorite techniques for getting links. Sites always appreciate it when you notify them of a link that doesn’t work anymore. And they’re almost always willing to give you a link to return the favor.

You’d be amazed at how effective this is, especially if you haven’t tried it. Simply letting a site know about a dead link and offering your link can be powerful.

Now you can find the broken links on their sites and request them to replace them with yours. It is as simple as it is.

STRATEGY 3:- Guest posting to get a link back. 

Guest posts (or guest posting) are publishing an article on someone else’s website. 

It’s that simple. 

And people do this so they can get more brand awareness and traffic back to their own website (also known as referral traffic).

In one way or other, it is one of the most popular business models nowadays - Providing platforms to others and growing along. 

There are websites & businesses that growing enormously on other people's work like Instagram - Billions of users and they are posting their stuff on it and making IG even a bigger platform, another example is amazon - Million of sellers - selling their product on it and making it even bigger business.
